Design problem
A glass factory with its canteen and offices: large production halls that had to stay efficient without turning the site into a yard of sheds.
Key decision
Organise the campus around a landscaped green, with paths and circular seating linking the production hall, the canteen and the offices.
Solution
Wide halls under a light steel and glass roof bring daylight deep into production; durable materials and contemporary engineering keep the buildings efficient and their environmental impact low.
